Erin B. Corcoran re-wrote the Supreme Court case Landon v. Plasencia, 459 U.S. 21 (1982) from a feminist perspective for the book, U.S. Feminist Judgments Project: Rewriting law from a feminist perspective (Cambridge University Press, 2023). The cases listed in the link are in chronological order that were decided on by the Court.

David Cortright:

• Wrote a book review for Freeze! The Grassroots Movement to Halt the Arms Race and End the Cold War (Cornell University Press, 2022).

• Wrote an article for the Oct. 3, 2022 issue of Foreign Policy in Focus,  “Welcoming Russians Who Refuse to Fight.”

• Wrote the book, A Peaceful Superpower: Lessons from the World’s Largest Antiwar Movement (NYU Press, 2023).

• Wrote "The Impact of the Anti-War Movement 20 Years After the US Invaded Iraq” for the Feb. 14, 2023 issue of The Nation.

• Drafted a blog post for Democracy Paradox, "A Democratic Deficit: The War in Iraq."

• Co-authored the opinion piece, “Russians’ support for the war may be softer than you think,” that ran in the May 25, 2023 issue of Responsible Statecraft.

Aref Dostyar was the lead author of the June 2023 report, “What Could Shape the Conditions for Dialogue in Afghanistan,” a project of the Afghanistan Research Network, which is an initiative of the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Gary Goertz was the lead author behind the June 12, 2023 publication of “Tracking the Evolution of Conflict: Barometers for Interstate and Civil Conflict,” for the United States Institute of Peace.

Maira Hayat wrote an op-ed for the Oct. 12, 2022 issue of the Washington Post, “A history of U.S. interference worsened Pakistan’s devastating floods.”

Caroline Hughes wrote an article with Anna K. Johnson and Josephine Lechartre for the Journal of Peace Research, “Peace scholarship and the local turn: Hierarchies in the production of knowledge about peace,” published online Oct. 18, 2022.

Madhav Joshi:

• Contributed to the article, “International Third Parties and the Implementation of Comprehensive Peace Agreements After Civil War,” for the Journal of Conflict Resolution, first published July 13, 2022.

• Wrote the Dec. 12, 2022 article, "New avenues in peace implementation research: actors, geolocation, and time," for the journal Peacebuilding.

• Wrote the article, "Rebel diplomacy and negotiated settlement in civil wars," for the June 22, 2023 issue of The British Journal of Politics and International Relations.

Emmanuel Katongole:

• Published the book, Who Are My People? (University of Notre Dame Press, 2022), for the Contending Modernities series, edited by Scott Appleby, Atalia Omer and Ebrahim Moosa.

• Wrote an article for the December 2022 issue of Plough, "Reviving the Village."

Asher Kaufman penned the article, "Forty Years to the Israel-Lebanon Agreement and the Fantasy of Renewing the Hiram-Solomon Alliance," for the May 31, 2023 issue of Haaretz.

John Paul Lederach was one of several Kroc Institute faculty who contributed to the book, The Wiley Blackwell Companion to Religion and Peace, which was released July 28, 2022.

George A. Lopez and Beatrix Geaghan-Breiner drafted the December 2022 policy brief, "Using economic sanctions to prevent mass atrocities," for the International Association of Genocide Scholars.

Josh Lupo, with Atalia Omer, edited the book, Religion and Broken Solidarities: Feminism, Race, and Transnationalism (Notre Dame Press, 2022).

Laura Miller-Graff was one of several authors that included Amanda Ross, Elizabeth A. Mack, Richard Marcantonio, Amber L. Pearson, Audrey Culver Smith, Erin Bunting, and Ammer Zimmer who drafted the article, "A mediation analysis of the linkages between climate variability, water insecurity, and interpersonal violence" for the March 26, 2023 issue of Climate and Development.

Ann Mische penned the essay, “Movements in Democracy: Toward a Dynamic Analysis of Civic and Contentious Engagement,” as part of the June 2023 report, Democracy and Autocracy – Why do Democracies Develop and Decline?

Caesar A. Montevecchio:

• With Gerard F. Powers, edited the book Catholic Peacebuilding and Mining: Integral Peace, Development, and Ecology (Routledge, 2022).

• Wrote an article for Religion in Praxis, "Mining and Conflict: What Can Catholic Peacebuilders Do About It?"

• Served as a guest editor with Maria Power for Volume 12, Issue 2 (2023) of the Journal of Moral Theology, and wrote an article for the issue, "Catholic Peacebuilding in Times of Crisis: Hope for a Wounded World."

• Authored the article,"Subsidiarity: A Central Principle for Justice, Peace, and Sustainability in Mining," for The Journal of Social Encounters.

Laurie Nathan:

• Wrote the chapter, "The Impossible Mandate for Mediation: Exclusionary Approaches to Conflict Resolution in Libya, Syria, and Yemen," for the book, Conflict Mediation in the Arab World (Syracuse University Press, 2023).

• Co-authored with Ajay Sethi on the article, "Reducing and Managing Risk: The Dimensions of Strong Ceasefires in Intra-State Conflict," for the March 2023 issue of International Studies Review.

• Co-authored with Joel Devonshire on the May 2, 2023 article, "Don't we have the right to get angry? Integrating emotions into international mediation studies," for the International Journal of Conflict Management.

Atalia Omer:

• With other Kroc Institute faculty and scholars, contributed to the book, The Wiley Blackwell Companion to Religion and Peace, which was released July 28, 2022.

• Authored “Not a Prophet, A Mirror,” for the Aug. 12, 2022 issue of the Journal of Religious Ethics.

• Wrote "Jewish Justice as Historical Praxis in Israel/Palestine," for the fall 2022 issue of The Magazine of the Association for Jewish Studies: The Justice Issue.

• With Josh Lupo, edited the book, Religion and Broken Solidarities: Feminism, Race, and Transnationalism (Notre Dame Press, 2022).

• Wrote an article for the May 17, 2023 issue of Zeitschrift für Religion, Gesellschaft und Politik, "Religion and the harmony business: after 9/11, more is less."

• Was one of the authors behind the article, "Teaching Religion and Upholding Academic Freedom” in the May 18, 2023 issue of the Journal of Religious Ethics.

• Wrote the book, Decolonizing Religion and Peacebuilding (Oxford University Press, 2023).
